Farmers' Organisation (SFO), Sarawak is a corporate organisation
which acts as the business arm of the Department of Agriculture,
Sarawak (DOA). It was incorporated on 2nd January 1986 under the
Farmers' Organisation Act 109, 1973. It is under the preview of
the Ministry of Modernisation of Agriculture Sarawak (MOMA).

Farmers' Organisation was set up in the Department of Agriculture
in 1972 with the establishment of its first Area Farmers' Organisation
(AFO) at Stumbin in 1973. Since then, 28 AFOs have been established.
