Characteristic
A hairy annual herb with a single 4-angled stem of about 1 m high. There are 2 varieties of plant, namely, the pink- flowered and white-flowered kacangma.

Properties
Bitter, acrid and cool. Improves blood circulation, regulates menses, diuretic and anti-swelling, antihypertensive, antimicrobial and antitumor.
